Remember to always get a good nights rest before an exam. Take the time to study a couple days before exams so that you do not have to rush your studying the night before. Exams are intended to help you learn and remember the material, rather than just for memorization.

Do not procrastinate on your daily assignments either! Professors usually give plenty of time to do homework, so get it done! I know sometimes it may be difficult to make the decision of staying in on the weekend doing homework instead of enjoying the Mankato night life, but the key is having you priorities straight. As fun as the weekend could be, how much will that benefit you down the road as opposed to doing your homework and studying?

Welcome to my advising blog! I hope everybody's classes and semester as a whole is going well!

I designed this blog with you in mind. If there is some question or concern you have about school or classes you should be taking, you have found the right place! I have been advising students for a year now and really enjoy doing it. I have helped students with everything from registration, what classes are worthwhile, probation, and just general advising questions.

Since we are already four weeks into the fall semester at Mankato, I hope you are not too stressed with classes, and you feel confident you will make it the rest of the semester! If you have any questions or any suggestions for my blog, feel free to leave a post!
